Vintage Wedding Invitations bring style and personality to the forefront of your wedding, whether you are looking for a romantic vintage style or an invitation inspired from the 1920’s.
I love anything and everything vintage, and with all of the wedding invitation design choices available today, you can find just about anything you are looking for, from cute and funky to formal but fun.
These are some of my favorites from Wedding Paper Divas. The first one shown below on the left looks like a vintage postcard with a personalized photo; ultra-romantic and chic!
If you are somewhat of a do-it-yourselfer, but don’t have the time or patience to create custom wedding invitations from scratch, consider purchasing your wedding invitations and then adding something of your own to it, such as a stamp, ribbon, lace, cut-outs of old paper doilies or newspapers, or anything else that might give it a more vintage feel.
Sometimes your local post office carries vintage stamps. Consider using those on your envelopes to accompany your vintage style wedding invitations. And, if you really want to go for that vintage feel, choose a vintage or retro font for your mailing addresses, too.
Another fun idea to create a vintage touch – make your response cards look old. Brew a pot of tea and rest them in there for about 30 seconds, then let them air dry. If you’re really daring, you can try this with the envelopes. Be sure to order a few extra for experimenting with.
