DIY Apple Place Card Holder

Turn your wedding place card holders into an unexpected treat for your wedding guests! It couldn’t possibly be any easier, not to mention cheap and fun.

Start with flat place cards that go along with your wedding theme. A lot of wedding invitations come with place cards to match, so keep that in mind when ordering. Next, pick up some brads from your local craft store. You will usually have the option of gold or silver, but sometimes you can also find them in other colors. Purchase your fruit fresh in the few days leading up to the wedding to insure that’s it’s fresh, and simply stick your cards into the apples using your brads (after writing the names of your guests). That’s it! Incredibly easy.

This place card idea looks particularly lovely for an outdoor wedding, or a wedding with a natural country chic quality, such as a barn or ranch wedding. You can also consider using red apples or mini pumpkins to go along with a fall wedding theme. Here are some other fruit wedding favor ideas, too.
