How To Make A Boho Braid

The great thing about a good boho braid is that it doesn’t have to be perfect! The entire idea is to have a natural, kind-of messy look. They work wonderfully for long and/or thick hair, because while your hair is pulled back and out of your face, you still get the volume you need. The one shown below looks particularly well with a few strays left to frame your face or with side swept bangs.

If you keep your braids rather loose, you will find that when you pull your hair out, you get a natural wavy look. If you have grown out roots that need touching up (like mine), this look might not work so well because it will be showcasing them in the back.
