Deeper Hues
No matter the hue, purple has a mystical feel that naturally pairs nicely with green. You can choose colors on the brighter side of the color wheel, such as lime green and violet, for a fun whimsical touch, or softer colors, such as lavender and honeydew, for a softer romantic quality.
Fortunately, purple and green flowers and foliage are very abundant, making it easy to decorate your wedding ceremony and reception in these colors. Some of my favorite purple flowers and plants are hydrangeas, daisies, carnations, hibiscus, and lavender. Other plants, such as succulents and artichokes, are excellent, too, because they are green with varying purple accents. Choosing lighter green flowers and leafage to go with your purple flowers will give you the highest contrast.

Soft Purples
See how combining soft purple and green wedding colors (like the inspiration board shown below) creates a little more of an enchanting and romantic feel? You might also want to consider adding a blush or soft pink to your color theme:

Succulents
Succulents make for amazing table centerpieces, wedding favors, and bouquets for a purple and green wedding color theme:
Artichokes
Believe it or not, artichokes and other veggies can also make for beautiful accents in your flower arrangements and reception table centerpieces. Artichokes with the purple tinged leaves mean that they’re over ripe, but perfect for decorating!
Fruit
Fruit is another pleasant way of decorating your wedding – just think blackberries, plums, grapes, or green apples! Click here for some more fruit wedding favor ideas.
Decor
Tissue paper poms-poms are the most affordable wedding decoration while still making a big impression with lots of visual interest. They are available in just about ever color and shade, and have become popular hanging over the dessert buffet, strung from trees, or hanging from the rafters at an indoor wedding:
Paper lanterns make for brilliant splashes of color and whimsical lighting:
With dessert buffets and gourmet cupcakes being the highlight at many weddings, cupcake wrappers are the supreme way of dressing up your cupcakes:
