Romantic Wedding Inspiration

No matter the style or theme, when isn’t a wedding romantic? And when does a wedding cross the line from charming to cheesy? A truly romantic day is all about your personal taste, but with a little bit of inspiration, you can have the romantic wedding day that you’ve always dreamed of.

I love the idea of using soft romantic colors, such as blush, peach, and champagne. Also, consider using lots of ruffles, everything from the wedding dress to the wedding cake. A ruffled and layered skirt on your wedding gown looks stunning, and also helps hide any unwanted curves.

Lighting is very important to add ambience, making your wedding day that much more whimsical. It can completely transform a space from drab to dreamy. Candles are the easiest and most economical choice. Chandeliers are also the new craze, even hanging from trees for an outdoor wedding, or hanging from the rafters in a country barn wedding.

Use lots of lovely linens, such as tulle, organza, and lace to adorn your tables or use them to create swags or drapes, allowing them to fall into natural cascades.

The location that you choose for your wedding ceremony and reception is the most important when considering the look and feel that you are going for. A botanical garden or park is a popular choice for a romantic wedding. You might also consider a vineyard, beach, or meadow. But, even if you are having your wedding in a church or even your own backyard, a romantic wedding can easily be achieved with a little bit  of creativity and planning.
